Project Overview
This project involved the full redevelopment of an existing petrol filling station in Failsworth, Greater Manchester, for an established fuel operator.
The scheme comprised a new forecourt canopy, fuel pumps, EV charging infrastructure, and a retail kiosk — replacing an outdated facility with a modern, commercially optimised operation designed to meet current standards and evolving consumer demand.
The principal challenge was navigating the planning process. Studio Tashkeel managed the full application through to a successful grant of planning permission, before continuing to deliver Building Regulations approval and project management through to practical completion.
The result is a fully operational, income-generating forecourt asset — brought from concept to completion under a single, coordinated team.
